Following several discussions with the Zulu King and the charity Education Africa, a scheme has been established whereby an optional £1 cover-charge for all main restaurant diners is donated by Shaka Zulu to help fund vital education projects in KwaZulu-Natal and elsewhere in South Africa.
The Shaka Zulu Team has set a target of £1 million which will be channelled through Education Africa to several Zulu projects including those helping AIDS orphans.
Our team has travelled extensively in the townships in and around Johannesburg and the Western Cape to see first hand how vital these projects are in establishing a lasting legacy.
Our table water, One Water, also carries out vital work delivering fresh drinking water throughout Africa via the One Foundation.
